Love this strain so much. It is a very potent one and really offers everything I look for in a strain. The flower itself is very dense and covered in white artichokes. The smell is really something else. It smells just like Durban but has a mildly sweeter undertone; it’s intoxicating breaking open a bud. It tastes just like it smells but even sweeter and actually very sour on the exhale.

I have only seen this strain sold as a sativa. It works great in relieving pain and clearing the mind from stress and negative thoughts. It provides an energetic feeling and increases awareness and creativity. It doesn’t seem to increase your appetite unless you were already hungry when you smoked it.

The video was funny, but let’s talk about 2018 Red Congolese!! First it always sucks to get dry weed, so that didn’t help the video rating. My 1/2 was sticky and super stinky. The buds were a medium to dark green with dark red hairs. Looked like it was on fire. The smell got stronger when I broke it up. In a lot of ways it reminds me of Durban poison. Has a danky earthy flavor that will lift your spirits and relieve your pain. Just like Durban, it’s an appetite suppressant. If you want a lift without the munchies your gonna love this

Grade A+! It had a heavy high for a sativa. Excelente sativa, deals with fatigue and nausea very well. it does not make hungry, and keeps you focused and energized for at least two hours. Great pain muscle reliever. I am not a fan of pure Sativa but this one is a keeper. Great mood enhancer.

I bred this strain It seems as though many try to take credit it was bred when I was trying to breed skunk 1 from scratch. I had the Acapulco gold x Afghan male pollinating the Santa’s Marta Colombia gold we also had a amazing worked landrace from the Congo I got from a breeder in Spain so I pollinated the Congolese with the AG x Afghan and that is how the red Congolese was bred

Had this decades ago. It was chocolate only when you broke open the buds. It was a treat back then though. Better than the usual commercial brick of s*** back in the day. Was a social strain. Energetic. Good for mischief in the woods. Would love to see it in the dispensaries…. with a better idea of things I bet it has BCP to account for that kind of coffee / choc shop smell and taste.

The dense dark forest green buds smelled & tasted of chocolate & coffee. Lots of fire brown pistils & twinkling crystal trichomes among the golden peach fuzz hairs.
